Meeting rooms

Meeting rooms in BeZoned are designed for private conversations and scheduled or ad-hoc meetings. They let you start or join Microsoft Teams meetings directly from the virtual office, without switching tools or application.

Start or Join a Meeting from a Meeting Room

When you place your avatar inside a meeting room, BeZoned automatically makes it easy to connect.

  1. Move your avatar into a meeting room.

  2. Look for the Join meeting button that appears next to your avatar.

  3. Click Join meeting.

A Microsoft Teams meeting starts instantly in the Teams meeting room linked to that BeZoned meeting room. You can also use the same button to join an ongoing meeting.

Use Microsoft Teams Features as Usual

Once you are in the Teams meeting, it works just like any other Microsoft Teams meeting.

You can use all standard Teams features, including:

  • Screen sharing

  • Meeting recording

  • Chat

  • Audio and video controls

  • Participant management

There is nothing new to learn—everything behaves the same as in regular Teams meetings.

Use the BeZoned Meeting App in Teams

Each meeting also includes a BeZoned meeting app inside Microsoft Teams.

From this app, you can access additional collaboration features, such as:

  • Virtual whiteboards

  • Project planners

  • Other interactive tools

These features are designed to make meetings more engaging and productive, especially for hybrid and remote teams.

What Happens When a Meeting Ends

When all participants leave a Teams meeting, the meeting is automatically disposed.

This means:

  • New meetings in the same room do not include chat history or other data from previous meetings.

  • Each meeting starts fresh, avoiding confusion or information carryover.

Note: Some shared tools, such as whiteboards or planners, are currently reused for the room. We plan to reset these automatically in future versions.
